The storm system bringing cold and cloudy weather today will stick around until at least tomorrow. Expect colder than average temperates, with light rain in the valley and snow in the mountains.
A broad trough of cold air is currently over the Western states from the Pacific Northwest down to Arizona. This system is bringing energy which has brought a few showers and thunderstorms. For tonight, expect isolated thunderstorms and scattered showers.
The average low temperature for tomorrow is 42, with the average high being 68. The record low of 24 was set in 1908, and the high of 92 in 1957. That temperature of 92 is the all-time high on record for February in Tucson.
Looking at the 3-day forecast:
Tomorrow - highs around 60, with an overnight low of dipping into the mid 30s.
Thursday - warming up a bit, high around 62, and the low still in the 30s.
Friday - we should see above average temperatures in the low 70s.
There’s a small chance of rain in the morning hours of Wednesday, but after that system moves through we should see clear skies and lots of sun.
